Honey Chicken Wings + Sauteed-Various Variety of Vegetables

Chicken Wings 2 pcs
Baby Tomato 1 pc
Baby Corn 2 pcs
Carrot(Orange) - Autumn Leaves 2 slices
Carrot(Purple) - Flowers 3 slices
Broccoli - Bushes 1 pc
Asparagus - Grass 5 pcs
Button Mushrooms 2 pcs
Lotus Root 3 slices
Green Coral Lettuce 5 leaves
Japanese White Rice 1/3 cup

作り方 Le temps pour cuisiner60minutes

  1. Soak 1/3cup of Japanese White Rice for 30mins before you start. Rinse it through 3-4times then cook for about 15mins. Let it rest with a wet cloth draped across your rice pot to prevent dehydration.
  2. Marinate the chicken wings with salt and pepper then leave to rest for 10mins. Move on to Step 3 while waiting.
  3. Prep your veggies by rinsing them under the tap. Cut/Carve them into shapes of your preference by using vege/cookie cutters or carving knives.
  4. Coat the marinated chicken wing with honey and place them on a preheated pan. Cook till it turns brown. This would take you about 15mins.
  5. Melt a small piece of butter in a clean pan. Throw in all your veggies as the butter melts then cook patiently with low heat. Do add some salt and pepper/sauces of your preference for seasoning.
  6. Carefully arrange the veggies soon as the rice is packed to the side of your bento box. Line some green coral lettuce around the veggies.
  7. Cut nori/seaweed into shape of totoro by refering to a photo/figure then place it gently on the white rice. Done!
